How often does b8ta charge partners for space in their showroom?
If you have a standard contract with b8ta, we will charge you at the beginning of each month for fees related to placement in our showroom for that same calendar month.
How do I update my credit card information?
If you’d like to update the credit card information that we have on file or would like to transition from invoiced billing to credit card, please contact our partnerships team at email@example.com. They’ll be able to help you through the process.
Questions about shipping to b8ta and managing inventory
How do I know the current inventory at b8ta?
In our monthly remittance email, we will send you an inventory report which contains an inventory balance as of the last day of the month. For mid-month inventory reporting, please log in to b8ta.com with your partner account.
How are returns handled?
The return policy at b8ta is 30 days from date of purchase.
From an accounting perspective, you’ll see on your monthly statement a line item for each return that came back from a customer.
Once the product has been returned, we will handle it in one of two ways, depending on the condition of the returned product.
- If the product is unopened, we will add the item back into inventory.
- If it has been opened and is now B-stock, we will set it aside to be returned to you.
We process B-stock returns once a month. Someone from b8ta will contact you to establish what your return process is and request an RMA number. Once done, we will ship the product back to the location you provide.
Where do I send my inventory?
If you’re running low on inventory at the b8ta showroom, please dropship directly to our store in Palo Alto. For more details, please download a copy of the b8ta Palo Alto routing guide here.
If needed, we can issue a consignment order (CO). Please reach out to our partnerships team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get that to you as soon as possible.
Questions about payments from b8ta
When are payments issued for sales in the store?
We pay all partners monthly for sales made in the previous month.
We release all partner payments by Friday of the first full week of the month for any sales and/or returns made in the previous month. Example: We will process your payment for any sales made in the month of June by Friday of the first full week of July.
If you’ve not provided us with your bank details for ACH payments, payments will not be received until the next week due to processing times.
Do I need to send an invoice to b8ta to get paid for monthly sales?
No, there is no need for you to invoice us for sales made in our store. We will automatically release payment for any sales. If you do send an invoice, it will be disregarded.
What happens if I don't receive a payment or remittance email?
Please contact email@example.com. You may not have sold a product in the store or we may be missing your banking details to release an ACH payment.
Why did I receive a test transaction of $0.01 in my bank account?
We verify all US bank accounts with a test transaction through bill.com. If you received the test transaction then your bank account was successfully verified and you are ready to receive payment from us.
Who remits sales tax to CA Board of Equalization?
b8ta will remit all the sales tax. Since we essentially purchase the product from you, the partner, at the time of the sale to the retail customer, we are responsible for remitting all sales tax.
